I have to use linux now, so which is the best distro? Anything i should know?

I'm using EndeavourOS, it's basically Arch but easier and it's pretty beginner-friendly. I'd advise against switching to Linux without help though.

I kinda have to because i use windows 7 on my laptop, and steams losing support for it. Iโve been wanting to do it for a while but now i have an actual reason to!

Depends on what you want to use Linux for, really. You can technically use any Linux distro for almost anything, but some things are easier in some distros than others - if you want to use Steam, for example, Arch has the best support , and it's not even that hard to install these days, just use archinstall and update your system weekly in order to prevent anything from breaking.

Thinking about going back to digidevil. I miss that site design a lot... I dont wanna waste all the hard work on animango's design but i really liked it... Hmmm
