I was just using my P50 today! But yeah I do admit that the battery issues are really bad on the Px0 series. The other P series cameras that followed (I had a P51 that broke a long time ago) greatly improved the battery performance, and by the Px3 cameras the performance on AA batteries was virtually identical to that of using an InfoLithium battery.
