I am so glad to hear that. I absolutely hate FL, but I hope you like it, I'm just stupid and it's too many buttons for me loll. Also THANK YOU for putting me on to JummBox, I played with it for like 3-4 hours. I will definitely be making some songs with it.

yo thank you for the tip! I actually had tried it right before you recommended that, but I still get some jacked up lookin thumbnail. i'm pretty sure my css is just janky and causing Screenjesus to make these svg files giant in the thumbnail viewer

does anyone know how to fix my thumbnail so it shows my background?? I have no idea why it's doing that. I tried this method (https://scott2.neocities.org/blog/2024-07-30-wrong-neocities-thumb-try-this/) from Scott2 but still broken. I also tried re-uploading the background image, renaming the file, and rearranging the CSS a few different ways.

Thank you for sharing your Neocities mechanics findings! I learned a lot and now feel less crazy about some less-than-consistent behavior I've witnessed over the past couple years. it's a cutthroat industry too... recently read an article about a tribe trying to open an off-reservation casino near a populated area, and every other tribe that already had a casino in the area tried to block it to protect their business, though they did kind of have a point that the prospective location was very far away from that tribe's historic lands

I realized that my last update broke a bunch of old shit... my bad. :) I'm much better at writing clean HTML since the last time I wrote the broken pages, so I will be cleaning them up as I come across them! In other news, I fixed the video game page and added a new contender...

I really loved everything in your gallery, and the sketchbook layout (and its contents) is insane. I think we have a lot of similar interests haha; I hope even more young people look into the good parts of the 60s/70s. I look forward to more updates!!
