unironically my advice to everyone is to steal shit. do it sparingly and dont act guilty but do it nonetheless. we're being priced out of living and theft is the inevitable consequence companies need to learn (streaming and tech especially. yar har mateys)

additional note: digital piracy has never been legally defensible as theft (that, "piracy is stealing," propaganda is literally a lie) due to making a copy; their issue with it is it, "steals," "potential revenue," but people using piracy weren't going to buy it to begin with. some places have had to make explicit, specifically anti-piracy law as a result

If grocery giants are working with each other to illegally fix prices at a rate that outpaces inflation, and are getting away with it scot-free, what reason do we have as customers to follow the rules? They're stealing from us, so we steal from them. It's only fair. (Also don't steal from small local businesses that's cringe.)
Hmmm... is there a moral high ground when the corporations that threaten to kill us all for a few extra dollars have no morality at all?
