does anybody w scanlating experience have any recs for free programs to do the typesetting? I already have clean raws so I just need a program that works well for text (krita does Not lol)

I've definitely been thinking about it, I had a lot of fun organizing it...!! I just worry about the scale lol, 20 or so people was quite manageable but if a looot of ppl sign up it might get overwhelming haha. I don't know if a cap on entrants would be a good solution or if I should just get some help modding a second one!! (I want to do another one eventually tho :D)

i think i messed up the numbering a bit lol ToT the script takes a long time to update lol, it shows up correctly when i test it on my end! this will sound stupid but go to this page and refresh it, it should push the update to ur cache for ur page... I hear that some people use Photoshop, but I believe that is really similar to Krita. Another alternative could be Photopea, which is an off-brand Photoshop.
ive been using gimp for many years so this is kinda biased but i like scanlating with it! (krita is so finicky even w brushes lmaoo)
