Unless you mean your review, which I just read :) I agree for the most part, but I actually like the plain language, though I read lots of books in translation, so I'm used to it. I think the matter of factness & plain language works w/ her character though, so I liked it.
i guess it's the kind of thing that varies. i typically prefer more flowery language so that's why it was a bit strange to me ^_^ you're right though the language does fit with her character, i hadn't considered that!
not a part of the bookbugs, but I read it a couple months ago. one of my few contemporary favorites. like vashti said, the straightforward and plain language is perfect.
