If someone knows where you live, your first name (and only your first name) and your birthday, they can usually sort out your identity, at least in America. For example, Andy from Oregon born on such and such date is probably the ONLY Andy born that day... :-/
Obviously more true than usual if you have a very unique name, but still possible in many cases if someone is being tenacious and seeking personal information. Be careful, folks. The internet is a perilous place at times.
