tbph im glad im not on page 1 of special sauce anymore. i think i was attracting too many "follow-for-follow" blank accounts trying to manipulate the numbers. plus theres something subliminal about being on page 1; you want to STAY on page 1, so you edit superfluously. at least i do.

HOW is it possible that the 30-year-old Digidesign strings library is BETTER than literally anything that's been made recently? big beefy staccato, clear and crisp sostenuto, bassy pizzicato, it's 5000% better than spitfire and native instruments that's for sure. hell it's better than fricken E-MU!

yknow tbph boycott or no boycott im never going to use youtube ever again for anything. i mean, look at how much power it has to control the development of technology and make unilateral decisions for the entire internet. it's a monopoly, no matter how many smaller video hosts there are.

and we're not even TALKING about the fungibility of reality with youtube's new compulsory generative AI "enhancer" that it's rolled out to shorts and will soon roll out to the entire host. smoothing wrinkles, blurring backgrounds, changing skintone, enhancing smiles, there is no reality anymore. the internet is dead and google killed it, yet its shadow still looms.

im actually seeing quite a lot of my mutuals on page 1. it's not bad, it's just unavoidable sometimes.
interesting. i never was on that page, but i found myself on it now, which would suggest it's not the first time. and yet i don't get this kind of blank follow-for-follows almost ever. Wonder what's up with that

Oh yeah I get you. I was on the front page once, and that was nice, but I just don't have the energy to edit everyday.
Usually my site lands briefly on page 1 a day or 2 after I update. Gives me more visibility but it still doesn't feel like a "numbers game" so I'm chill w it.
