How did y'all make your site buttons have such high resolution at 88 x 31? Is it just PPI settings?

Cause mine does not look good scaled down at all and I want to prevent that from happening in the future.
for me, scaling down image size in css does not change the quality of the image so im assuming that's what theyre doing
im perfectly content having a blurry button its stylish i think
predef resolution in inkscape for 88x31 is 96dpi and works just fine iirc
