i know it's been five hours but all you need to do to fix that is navigate to the windows folder on the c drive and open explorer.exe
@tripixel Did that in the beginning, didn’t work. Since then, audio inputs and media files have also stopped working
Sounds like malware to me. If you can get to another computer, you can make an Avast boot disk on USB. https://support.avast.com/en-us/article/Antivirus-Rescue-Disk-scan/
(assuming you're using a Windows PC with an x86 processor rn)
I think it may be malware, try running an antivirus like MalwareBytes
