Interest check time! I am absolutely complete pure shit at making friends but would really like to get to know folks around here better. I was pondering the idea of a chill art/oc-centric 18+ (maybe 20+?) discord server (in the sense that membership would be restricted to adults, not that it would be a strictly nsfw thing), so here I am putting some feelers out to see if anyone would join such a server.

COMMENTS!!! I DID THEM!!! They should work pretty smoothly but please let me know if there are any bugs. Currently they're only available on the blog, but I'm working on adding them to the art gallery as well (which is up again, albeit in limited capacity).

Not going to lie, your article on hosts and The Neocities Dilemma was what finally made me think "maybe it's time". SSI alone has made it worthwhile! Price savings are always nice too, but WOW was it a lot of work to manage duplicate header code across this many pages.

That's great! SSI is such a time saver for static sites, and I'm happy to be the gateway into that world for people.
Making an extra post specifically about my hamburger menu revelation (https://kalechips.net/stuff/snippets?p=burger) because I'm so proud of it. It took a while to hack together but the end product is... presentable? And doesn't look like a second-class burger?

This is one of those things where intuitively I couldn't see why this *wouldn't* work but that's never any guarantee that it will. So I'm jazzed that I was right and it was possible in the end!
