OH YEAH!!! i made a code package for Neocities that allows you to very easily make update logs, mini-blogs, etc. With this small bit of stuff, you can very quickly post to it and edit your posts using a graphic interface, without editing HTML. *It is in alpha now! Seems to work for at least a few peeps, but testing & reporting is appreciated! Use carefully!!! https://github.com/kouyouelysian/notebox/

My update box already runs on it, and you can touch the editor here https://astrossoundhell.neocities.org/data/update, although you obviously won't be able to actually update it unless you're logged in as me (which you aren't)
