Are you sure you want to do this?
I surprisingly don't, despite owning a bunch of other Pokemon plushes. In fact, no Eeveelutions at all. Need to get on it.
i have more eeveelutions than anything else. i have a small flareon as well as a small leafeon that i got w/ a espeon plush i bought from the pokemon center. (i also have eevee from b.a.b.) i love the eeveelutions so much
im pretty sure i got the bootleg versions of flareon/leafeon because they look off but it'll have to do i suppose
Gotta watch out for bootlegs. I only get mine at physical stores (eg the Nintendo store in NYC) to minimize the chances of getting ripped off.
if you send me a picture i can try to identify if it's a bootleg! i have LOTS of experience with pokemon plushies and avoiding bootlegs haha. also, where did you get the flareon?
@bugland i'm not completely sure because I got it as a gift from a family member. i dont have it with me so i cant take a picture but in the meantime it looks like this (this one isnt mine i just looked up pictures) https://beetletee.neocities.org/youpoorpoorsoul.jpg
mine has a pokemon center tag on it, so it could be real but im not really sure? i dunno if tags can be faked but it looks/feels pretty authentic so who knows lol
(oh also to clarify i think the espeon might have been a gift as well. it was a year or so ago when i got them and honestly everything a bit murky from then)
Tags are very easy to fake. Also, tiny mari. I approve.
then he's probably a bootleg. bootleg mariteaux...
You do what you have to do to satisfy demand. People want me. Ka-chow.
https://ic.pics.livejournal.com/umbreonpng/76772666/10592/10592_600.png do the tags look like this? Because most bootleg pokedolls (which this seems to be) use this version, with no shadows on the text ajd more purply shadows on pikachu. He's likely to be bootleg if that version though, sadly
@bugland OHH i didnt mean that type of tag. must of worded it wrong. i meant the fabric-ish ones that come out near the back of the doll if you get what i mean
If it has no paper tag that's also suspicious, but not inherently bad. tush tags are also fakeable though, does it get the accents? Is the pokeball on the tag mostly filled in? (Lots of bootlegs dont fill it in right) does the year correspond to when the flareon pokedoll was released? All stuff to ask when you next can see it
i'll have to look! ill let you know as soon as i can
@beetletee will you please make a shrine page for your plushies T-T
