some behind-the-scenery: i batch-convert to 8kbps via foobar2000 and strip of all metadata. then the chops through a ffmpeg batch command. cba figuring out incorporating maths-with-durations into the comm so, sorted files by length and did some separate chop-batches with different start-times depending on the track lengths
