i actually dk where to post my art because i want to actually build a following for my ocs and it seems like the main places for that are tiktok and twitter but i refuse to use twitter and i hate making videos and following tiktok trends....

@selachemist yeahhh social media is so hard to navigate as an artist nowadays :/ videos constantly is not a very fun format for burnout
exactly T_T especially because i refuse to make low effort / unpolished content which you kinda need to do on tiktok
not that that's a compliment to myself btw i wish i could learn to be ok w sketchier or more unfinished stuff
can relate duuude pretty much everything popular is from tiktok now, memes, influencers, artists, fashion like \(TvT)/
tumblr and youtube can work in ways
right and i used to be super anti tiktok but i feel like i can't avoid it T_T tumblr is cool but i hate that it doesnt rly have a good built in gallery display feature for artists
Hmm, maybe Sheezy or Artfol can be good art platforms! I posted on both, and can say they’re super chill! They almost feel like small internet circles ^^
