I put a blanket on my chair while I was making my bed. My headphones were sitting on the chair as well. The blanket sent an electrostatic shock through my headphones and into my headphone amp, which fried the headphone amp. Then the headphone amp destroyed the left channel on my headphones by emitting some terrible frequencies. So yeah, putting my blanket on my chair destroyed like $500 worth of audio equipment

yes, I also blame winter. Everything in the winter gets full of static electricity - my hair, my clothes, my blankets. horrible

Yeah my house is bad. There's no humidification on the furnace, so our humidity is around like 11% in the house. We'll be getting one installed in the summer. Hopefully next winter won't be so bad lol
