The Matrix first came out when I was just going into secondary school. It was so new at the time, futuristic, not nostalgic. I watched it on a pirated VCD, and I kept replaying the guns in the lobby scene because it was so cool. The pop philosophy of it has become less interesting over time for me, but it still is a really stylish movie.

I remember when the clock ticked over into the new millenium and... nothing happened. It was just life as usual, the same boring grind. The future was here but it wasn't any different from the present.

I really love this simple site desgin! I'm also amazed that the Logo and Title are just simple ASCII art. I never would have thought to use text like to make it look like a fancy image header! Very cool, nice work.

Hey thanks for the compliments on my art! I'm just seeing this message, as I haven't been on Neocities much. I wish I had unlimited time, I'd spend so much of it just making goofy webpages.
