I think people should stop ending their rebuttals with "but go off I guess" or "but ok" I think it's so backhanded!!!! Like, do you agree with me or not?? Are we going to explain our points more or???
It's done to be mean and make the person ur arguing with look dumb. I've only ever done it arguing with bigotry, most of the time it's not rlly necessary tbh.
