so confused over the reaction to a blog post made over a year ago that doesn't affect neocities in the slightest whilst y'all continue using sites like twitter and tumblr which are owned by infinitely worse people...

i hate genai too and i understand why people are leaving over this, but... site owners are always going to have opinions you don't agree with. it is up to y'all over whether or not you want to continue using the site, but maybe keep this same energy for other sites like twitter and tumblr as well.

as for me, i'll continue with neocities. if there is ever any sign of genai being implemented, then i'll dip too. for now, i don't think neocities will be affected and thus i'll stay.

also, i recommend you guys implement a robots.txt file to prevent any ai bots from scrapping your site! ^_^
