Unlike in my parent's homeland, girls when they become adults in the US aren't normally provided for by their fathers.

They also aren't married off to husbands who can support them. Now speaking from the POV of one whose blood comes from a people one might call "savage," practically, you could convince your parents to let you live with them until you find a husband or you may take the common route of working so you may provide for yourself. It's what a woman at my old workplace, a restaurant did. She had a tough life.

Now I don't like doing this on a public forum, but I'll speak now out of charity. To quote the great Bully Maguire, "Get religion." I mean this unironically. If you haven't already, become Christian, become a Catholic, because life can get worse, and we're all going to need a piece of the God who can resurrect from death to bear through this life.

Our generation is rightfully, very messed up, and no matter what the feds say, this is a normal thing in the world they've made, this world without God. If you believe in Him, though, and keep His commandments, you will know all things are possible, and that'll be enough to live a fruitful life no matter how messed up you may be currently.

Now Blue, should you acknowledge Christ as Lord, there's no guarantee life will get better, but you will receive the strength necessary to bear suffering. In the beginning of this religion, many people were healed of many diseases. Those same people were fed to lions. Such is the life of a Christian. Heaven's a higher good than life.
