Iβm glad Iβm not the only one who felt disgusted towards David. Perhaps for slightly different reasons. I feel like the audience inherently roots for the main character (I foolishly hoped he would change) even if theyβre not a great person, but at least for me, I could not see past how David left Giovanni. It was horribly cruel and irredeemable

no yeah !! that was definitely a big part of it for me. i couldnβt stand watching how he treated him, i think i just addressed that mainly in my review as being rooted in internalized homophobia. itβs so gross. i couldnβt even feel bad for him at some point. like this is on you!
