...I am *really* beginning to think that Neocities needs a "don't list this on the timeline and clutter up everyone's feeds, it's just some code-wrangling" update option ^^;;
i know how that feels @september :D every time i make a slight update to my styles sheet and bam everythings there :joy:
It would help, especially when you make placeholder pages for new content which you've not written yet, but want to design the page and site navigation.
If you delete the posting right after it goes up, then continue to edit throughout the day, there won't be any further postings made (from my experience)
@bright-eyes -- oh goodness, YES. the amount of times I've uploaded placeholders or JS-will-be-includes and they're just sort of...sitting there for all to see, largely useless...is so exasperating!
@fragmentandreflect -- ah, thank you! I didn't know that! But that does present the problem that if I make a minor edit at 9am, and a major update two hours later, nobody would see it...Neocities, the home of Hard Choices ๐
You have the same birthday as my friend and it's two days after mine! Pisces energy!
(Just...oh goodness .shtml would make my life a lot easier...and my sites more viewable to those who have JS turned off...)
LOL, I always get angry at the text editor.
@arkmsworld -- I am endlessly dismayed my text editor didn't give me an HTML horde when I specifically asked for one. Technology these days is an utter disappointment.
That should totally be a thing!
