If you wanted to know how I put 4000+ buttons on the site, I wrote a script that scans a folder for images and then makes tags for you.

So heres the button wall on one page (sometimes images dont load and its pretty slow so I might do what billsworld said and make it on 4 pages). https://buttonwall.neocities.org/

You might consider having it on 4 pages instead of one... load time for that many images would be terrible even at broadband speeds...

Finally done with all the buttons for now at least. That took way longer than expected lol.

Also, beware theres some sexual-themed buttons. I didn't look at and review each button so yeah.

I have broadband cable and this page is taking nearly 5 mins to load... its still loading BTW... Back in the bad ol' days this would have taken hours to load even at 28.8kbps!
5 minutes!? Yikes, this needs some optimization lol. It takes like 40 seconds to load for me.
