A very niche Hong Kong film; "Suk Suk"/"Twilight's Kiss" (2019). It features two closeted gay men who fall in love with each other in their 60s-70s and it's quite bittersweet.

do keep in mind that since it's from the 90s, somo parts of it has aged a little eh but you're not supposed to view the moment favorably anyway (i'd expect the r-slur to probably be in the subs there, but i've never seen it with subs so it depends on how they translated it)
