What did you dislike about Fahrenheit? I'm planning on eventually reading it too, as it's one of the first foreign classics that I can remember hearing about.
@hosma I feel it is extremely overrated. If you are expecting a dystopian sort of 1984 book you are going to be extremely disappointed. Without spoiling anything all I can say is that is was just sort of cheesey. Felt like a rant of an old person complaining about the modern generation with a subplot about burning books (the whole book burning thing is not explored deeply at all)
@hosma if you are looking to read American authors I would suggest authors like John Williams, Steinbeck, Hemmingway, etc. Stoner by John Williams is a top 10 book for me so I'd definitely recommend that one. Would not recommend anything by Ray Bradbury though....
