The X-Files fan page instantly made a usenet post referring to Krychek as “Ratboy” pop into my head, with an associated image of Mulder in the back of a truck- I started watching halfway through and caught up in reruns, so I’d try to piece the myth arc episodes together through newsgroup discussions. It was weirdly specific nostalgia!
