i never verbalized my personal preferences with this outright, but considering recent events on neocities, i just wanna say i dont wanna interact with anyone younger than 16 here. i'm approaching 30 years old and i dont want to risk forming any sort of bond with minors online

even 16 and 17 year olds are on thin ice so i probs wont interact with them as much either but i feel less weird about it since they're gonna be adults in a couple years and they tend to at least have a better sense of things from what ive seen in general
is there some kind of new neocities type situation going on regarding this kinda thing? it's not the first time I've seen someone vaguely mention something going on with neocities and Im not sure how out of the loop i might be ; _ ; that, and I wholly agree on this. a major reason i removed my discord is bc I'm in my 30s and have no interest in making friends with minors;;;;
@eggdev dont worry about being out of the loop, it mainly involved someone who deleted their site after being called out for lying about their race and playing the victim. minors were getting caught up in the storm, unfortunately. but yeah, if you know, rhen you know. if you dont, better if we just dont bring it up, imo
