i think i keep getting more and more hints that i need to use my website to post my art and interact with the outside world instead of tumblr. feels less suffocating here and people seem to want to interact with me outside of treating me like a "fanartist". i dont know though, im still finding my place in the world where i feel like ill actually be a missing piece instead of just an extra body as entertainment.

got a fountain pen and i havent drawn this much in a while. ive been hating my art and barely been doing shit with that and now ive filled 2 pages front to back with drawings in my sketchbook. maybe having fun tools does help you do a thing more

absolutely, i was in the same situation as you until i bought a box of acrylic pens. I was suddenly in love with art again xD they are so convenient with bright colors and awesome coverage, it just feels good using them. It lightened my mood even during work for a few days xD so maybe thats just it, getting materials you like and enjoying the process after all :B

i want to find a place where my art is treated as my art instead of just public free use property if that makes any sense. i want to make shit for myself and show it to people who like to hang around. i want to get out of the content mindset social media has. i want to feel like a person and not a content machine because people like madness combat.
