oh pal i totally modified your dark mode toggle js *today* :D hope you dont mind - credited you in the js file. I tried writing a function for it myself a few weeks ago but 100% over complicated it

one of the webring widgets i have on my homepage takes way too long to load which leads me to think about just putting those widgets on their own page or something.

ah i used to have this problem re: scripts blocking page rendering - have you already tried applying the "defer" attribute and putting the script itself just before the closing "/body" tag?
