I wonder if in 10 years people will look back on us and think, "Man, it would have been so cool to use Neocities. I wonder where those people are now? Do they remember their sites?" Well buddy, I got news for ya, I... forget mine on a daily basis so no I wont.
I will. :) I hope Neocities is still up and running in 10 years. I feel the fate of my site is tied with its own. When Neocities, at last, fades back into the quantum sea of possibilities from which it was formed, so too will Arkm's World.
I will remember my site as well, definitely. I also do hope Neocities runs for the next 10 years. IMHO, Neocities is just an amazing platform, and I hope it lives long.
^ agreed. i'll most definitely remember at least a bit about my site (probably the terrible coding lol) and some of the nice people i met. i really do hope this site'll last for awhile
To add on to my comment, I will most likely remember the Three.js, VR, and some neural networks I've developed, but definitely not those lame converters I've made lol, (because I've moved on from lame converters to big projects like VR and ML)

We all now in ten years someone will ask us about our websites and we will say, from our log at the post apocalyptic campfire, "Websites... Heh."

I still remember my Piczo site from 2005, so maybe.
Neocities is filled with people who admire Web 1.0 and the Geocities "style" of websites, so I hope it'll be around for a long time.
