you should read 'Bored, Lonely, Angry, Stupid' by Luke Fernandez/Susan Matt this article kinda reminded me of it
"hard logic" of law and the courts. supreme justices these wise old sages, like a garden gnome or some precious fantastical national creature to be protected. illusions of "impartiality". American penchant for "free thinking" and pioneerism that's like a paper tiger; would you rather develop an outlook and ideology that you fully stand behind, or claim no opinion as a sort of opinion
