Blog CSS updated to look a bit nicer (first time I've updated that CSS in years). Please let me know if there's any weird formatting or issues on your displays thanks :D

Your monograph treating of online surveillance and exploitation was very enjoyable and informative. In Discipline and Punish, Foucault's characterization of the panopticon as an avatar of penal deterrence by monitor is well worth reading.

I love it; it's elegant, accessible, and attractive. Now I'm ashamed that my own index is a sloppy farrago that must be reworked sometime in the next few days.

BTW, your review of MacOS was amusing and informative. Thanks.

PSA because I was tearing my hair out over this. If you're trying to style your scrollbar using both ::webkit-scrollbar.... AND the scrollbar- css, be warned that chrome will override your ::webkit-scrollbar settings with the scrollbar- info except for the document scrollbar??? In other words, your page scrollbar will be correct but any scrollbars inside divs will be wrong.

If you need both use a media query to determine which one to use. You can use the supports() one to make it very obvious.

I WAS planning on making an interactive demo for Fourier Transforms and the frequency domain since it's a really cool image processing concept. The equations for DFT/FFT ar deceptively simple- actually trying to implement it is nightmare inducing. JS is (obviously) not good for IP already, but my god I didn't expect it to be *this* hard. I'm too prideful to rip somebody elses implementation too lol. Project scrapped.

number krunching is better done w/ webassembly, might want to use C++/rust and compile to wasm
