hello lovelies ! we've got a new prompt up for this week :] i hope you enjoy: write about or use asymmetry in your writing. what is the intrigue in imbalance? maybe work with different-sized stanzas or long, long sentences followed by short ones, or think about how no two bodies are the same, nor two halves of the same body, or how the feeling of a painting shifts with where the objects sit.

here's my prompt fill for this week! please watch out if you read it though, it's very much about childhood trauma :00 https://manyface.neocities.org/muse#transition - therry

This is really moving, I love how it starts and ends with the same line

your use of enjambment is inspired, you have a way of moving readers from one line to the next that works so well. incredible poem!

this is so beautiful and vulnerable, you put so well into words the aftermath of a kind of liminal grief. thank you for sharing!

this is such a beautiful thought - we don't talk enough about how non-linear life can be at times. congratulations on your first piece!

I think you encapsulated perfectly the idea of adulthood as compromise, there is something so beautiful about how you used such a small moment in daily life to communicate a strong concept!

hey y'all ! i'm so sorry i got behind on this stuff ! it's been really chaotic in my life lately... anyway, please accept this belated prompt ! explore on the softness & blurring of edges—dawn/dusk, the place between sleep and wakefulness, transitions from youthfulness to adulthood and adulthood to old age. what do those borders & changes feel like, look like, smell like?
