COMPLETELY agree with this. I'm sick of the stuff I went through being turned into something cool that suddenly every 15 yo in existence has... :/ not doubting anybody in particular ofc but it's just annoying how it's trendy and "cool" to say that you went through x traumatic event (usually some form of sexual abuse).

On one hand I'm sure its a teen thing and how people want to seem cool or "different" but sometimes it gets borderline offensive, esp when they start speaking over people with real mental illnesses. I wish I could visit some ppls abts and them not treating their labels like their personality or why I should like them :,]

i'm sorry it's also just the way they keep making jokes about, like it is not your place to joke about what other people go through ðŸ˜

but talking more about how common severe mental struggles are among the younger generations, there's a theory about how due to the condition of today's world, as each generation passes and the world gets worse the mental health of those living through obviously get worse too. that the reason depression and anxiety are so widespread today is because of the cultural and social status of the world we live in

also what should the box next to the site updates be? any suggestions on what to put there?
but that doesn't mean i'm not proud to be who i am? i can't change these parts of me, so i accept them. mentally ill people are allowed to feel however they want about their mental illnesses.
