i dont care how many devs say to optimize by converting images to .webp files. I will never use webp it is my enemy. this is a .jpg and .png household foreverrrrr

There was a major, critical security exploit that existed using webp a few years back, and because that my opinion of the format has been thouroughly soured. The idea that someone could get hacked thanks to an IMAGE is embarassing.

.webp is an absolutely horrendous file format and it's a pain in the ass to copy it because it just wants you to use links. at least .svg has its uses in creating irl art (it lets you scale it without resolution loss)
