Losing pets is awful, especially when you know them for so long. Keep the sweetie in your memory and he'll be with you till the day you die ❤️ Take care of yourself and take your time with the site!

sending you much love, take all the time you need! losing a pet, really a companion and friend when they have been such a consistent part of ones life, is really hard, so don't feel bad for grieving his loss intensely and/or for a while. take care of yourself <3

So sorry for your loss. It helped me to find other pet people to talk to, as non-pet people sometimes don't quite understand that pets are literally family members. As others said, take your time in grieving and look after yourself.

Way before I made my site, neocities wouldn't load at all for a few days for some reason. I knew this was just a me problem too, since no one was talking about it. It was probably a problem with your IP, since the site was working fine for me yesterday.

If you make it a job you might just quit! It’s your site, do what you want with it :)

Thank you Aus10! :D I never expected to have any following, especially since I have only about page, so pressure starts to sometimes creep in xD

Just a small bit of advice: Don't fall into the same pattern that YouTube creators fall into, feeling pressured to deliver, because that will just ruin it for life. Take your time. As a follower I have a ton of patience.

Indie websites are a form of self-expression. The only person that needs to be satisfied is you!

most things are best slow cooked :) try not to rush! delay an update for a day, sometimes new things come along the way. that helps me alleviate my own self-induced stress to update my page lol. it gives me incentive to take my time, usually there's a bug i can fix or new idea i can add, which makes it more satisfying than releasing something i feel is 'half baked'.
Blog page is probably the easiest thing I can do, and a good way to just keep this website active, share my ramblings and progress on other pages. maybe working on it will cheer me up while not overwhelming me too much.
yay! dont burn urself out twin :D making a website and learning coding should be fun rather than tiring, so just dont force it and go with ur own flow. idk how to explain this or if this advice will help since its coming from me who webdevs as a hobby rather than something for a job and such. i hope it does help tho.
thank you @funnycadeserver :D I wanted to learn some js so that i can do more advanced stuff, but reading pages upon pages of stuff without end made my brain stop cooperating haha XD I got the gist tho and decided to just go for it :)
