accessibility should be commonplace or at the very least inaccessible websites like those with strobing colours, no alt tags, or no mobile responsiveness should have a warning that they r inaccessible. everytime i see a website with strobing and no way to disabled it / no warning before the strobing starts i'm like ok so you are just actively okay with sending someone to the hospital & Physically harming them

i wouldn't say it's unpopular & more that it's sometimes less common as courtesy on personal websites
