Ever since my parents and three brothers died in a gasoline explosion last month, my mind has been dead to the world. Please, god, let me leave this place. I have no hope for my country. I see it in the glassy eyed stares of the people in the street. We have nothing. We have been ruled by fat generals who have made promises in the election but have done nothing but steal from the people. No one is safe.

"it's not that deep" has done unbelievable damage to media literacy and critical thinking in general. it seems to come from the content-focussed culture we're in, because content has no depth. most media, on the other hand, is art, and it *is* that deep.

hell yea we need real nerds!! it's hard to say that and not be accused of gatekeeping or whatever but telling someone to inform themselves shouldnt be taken as an offense... especially when its about something they like!! it should be interesting to you if you like it lol
