ok the update did not show up here so manual update. i finished a draft of the navigation widget and it seems to be working well. but then again ive only tested it in localhost, github.io and neocities, so it still needs more testing. but that still means the bulk of js is done and i can move on to designing the site itself

this whole time i thought neocities could see through vpns and you cant make sites from china. turns out i just had to turn off my vpn. this account right here is registered in the us lol. (no i didnt go all the way to the us just to make an account dont worry)

anyways i registered @oc-webring but its still empty right now. maybe i shhould make a discord server for ppl who have an idea of how they want it to look? collab? idk

alright if i were to make a webring focusing on sites wit original characters would you join? doesnt have to be really character-oriented, any site with at least one character profile would do!

i dont think... writing the content would be a big problem? i could be wrong. 11ty offers a i18n plugin which can make it easier?
this would also require another google form in chinese... imma try though. if it turns out to be a lot of work ill just give up. easy peasy.
