A few recent things: a CaelOS comic about the basics of artificial intelligence in this fictional universe, a Buckshot Roulette art for its anniversary of release on Steam (04.04.2024), plus a quote we as NyxOS collective find very fun.

It links to a Cathode Ray Dude video and has some technical terms here and there but if you watch at least until the quote is mentioned, it'll make sense why we've been meaning to add it since it released.

Both the CaelOS page and the main art page got a bunch of art uploaded, some of them from 2025... Oops. In fact, all sections aside from Great God Grove and Hylics have something new in them! Additionally I have uploaded a few backgrounds from older CaelOS illustrations because I'm still happy with how they came out.

+ Noticing there's kind of a lot of thumbnails for CaelOS art, so I've broken it up into section by years to give a clearer timeline of the visual changes and when certain characters are introduced.

As of about version 2.7.45 the issues mentioned in the earlier entry appear to be fixed and there haven't been issues since. As such the warning about known issues has been removed.

Added a warning to a known issue with Boredom Sim and Terror Star past SSP version 2.7.37. There have been changes to how SSP renders the graphics for the ghosts, including experimental support for GIF/WEBP/APNG images. As awesome as it sounds, this introduced bugs and even outright SSP crashes involving my CaelOS ghosts.

The crashes outright got fixed since, but there are still issues involving animations for Boredom Simulator and Terror Star. While this gets ironed out, I wouldn't recommend updating past version 2.7.37. Their respective pages have instructions on how to do that.

It's done! After a couple of months dedicated almost entierly to getting the development done, Aster Boresom Simulator is finished and polished up enough to be safely released! Aster Boredom Simulator is a little ghost experience about some conversations between a sapient AI and their reluctant user, who isn't home at the moment, and leaves their laptop open and working for them back home.

Also added in a button on Aster Assistant Software page instead of a link. I still have yet a backlog of art to upload, but that's gonna take a little bit. Currently preparing to finish up Aster Boredom Simulator once and for all, and since the ghost will link to the site and the Ukagaka page in particular, I wanted to get it in order.

As of October 14th, it's been one year since Terror Star was posted. As of October 9th, it's been two years since Assistant Software's release. Today also marks debut of new CaelOS universe characters: AI powered internet personalities and somewhat niche idols - Eris, an airhead alien girl, and her companion Dy, a starry axolotl. New art upload: this time a small 3 page comic about Urs trying out the digital avatar modded by Aster for the first time. I had this idea for literally months, very very happy I am finally getting to put this on paper. It's technically lore!
