can you use the Opera browser? I use its free built-in VPN when browsing neocities and forums to avoid this!
@sprout i don't trust opera and i'm trying to cut down on malicious software, i have considered a vpn though
I use NordVPN because I got a deal on it from a YouTuber back in the day. It works fine for this sort of thing. But I agree it sucks so bad to see so many websites become purple gradient boxes without one :'(
