To get rid of lagginess: Fix the onionring.css - Remove or replace the Friz Quadrata font declarations Remove/replace momstypewriter font - The file is corrupted! Compress images - Especially that 4.4 MB loading GIF Remove jQuery dependency (rewrite your handlers!)

ezgif.com is a great resource for getting those pesty gifs down in size without them looking too poo! I used this resource extensively for babelofdreams.neocities.org

ohmygod thank you so much for taking the time to check my code ??? my java is mostly frankenstein-y as i don't have that much knowledge in the matter which probably causes part of the laggyness but i'll be sure to fix all of that !!!!

for me there's a small delay when you put your cursor on the tv and the moment the image shows up :(

@youareinthetides maybe its the trick ... idk as i have a loading screen for me everything should be loaded when the page appears?

bcuz the images are swapped in with js after the page has loaded, the webpage doesnt know to request them until the hover event (u can see this in the netwok tab); if u add preloads theyll get included during the loading screen
