i'd advise to search for a base code first so that you can have a starting layout!! you can find multiple versions when browsing "html dress up game " , i did go with onlytrichromatic's :) you can find it here (https://onlytrichromatic.neocities.org/dressupgametemplate) don't forget to check their site too ! and i mostly added some css to personalize it like thumbnails for clothes ect ..

To get rid of lagginess: Fix the onionring.css - Remove or replace the Friz Quadrata font declarations Remove/replace momstypewriter font - The file is corrupted! Compress images - Especially that 4.4 MB loading GIF Remove jQuery dependency (rewrite your handlers!)

ezgif.com is a great resource for getting those pesty gifs down in size without them looking too poo! I used this resource extensively for babelofdreams.neocities.org

for me there's a small delay when you put your cursor on the tv and the moment the image shows up :(

@youareinthetides maybe its the trick ... idk as i have a loading screen for me everything should be loaded when the page appears?

bcuz the images are swapped in with js after the page has loaded, the webpage doesnt know to request them until the hover event (u can see this in the netwok tab); if u add preloads theyll get included during the loading screen
