one of the webring widgets i have on my homepage takes way too long to load which leads me to think about just putting those widgets on their own page or something.
ah i used to have this problem re: scripts blocking page rendering - have you already tried applying the "defer" attribute and putting the script itself just before the closing "/body" tag?
ooh ive added defer but i forgot about putting the actual scripts at the bottom, i'll test it out. thank you!
