adding a length indicator for blog posts. i did it by just copying how r/TIFU does their post length flairs, and i hate how well that works

i spent some time designing how it should appear if you :visited one of the pages on there. and the astro router dosen't seem to cause the browser to mark it as visited... for whatever reason... yay

idea that kinda sounds like an anti-pattern on paper: pass out links to your website for usage in webrings with some reference in them. like https://dabric.xyz?ref=webring. then, add javascript that shows webring widgets on your homepage when it detects that ref=webring

my thought process on this is that it's convienent to have webring widgets right on the homepage, so people can just flip quicky if they don't care for your site. but for cleaniness i don't wanna just have them always on my homepage
