holy shit I'm so sorry you and your friend had such a terrifying experience but I'm glad she's OK and glad writing about it helped you feel better! I relate so much to the feelings you write about. Let me know if you want any advice. I'm a couple of years older and have had my own winding path in life. Also happy to listen to you vent at all if you need to!

holy shit. feels weird to say happy birthday... but it sounds like you're making the most of the circumstances haha. as a fellow texan who also loves to dance, was raised by my grandparents and recently lost my mom, I can relate on multiple levels. I'm sorry it was so hard taking care of them and that you had to hold so much in. I'm sorry for your loss. But thank you for sharing so honestly. <3 helped me a bit tbh
