I feel there as been an effort to extend the Millennial generation's years. Millennials were the people protesting in Occupy Wallstreet over their college debt. Gen Z is similar to Gen X in that way, forgotten, painted as too rowdy, too radical, and what culture we do amass is quickly taken. People who became adults in a post-Obama world are being grouped with people who voted for that change.

generations as a concept are a touchy subject on the left, but I feel if we believe they are real then they are, and if they are then we should have a say in our culture
