my game is getting along pretty well! the ui still looks kinda ugly but well i tried. at least it scales properly now! and i managed to do card animations!
oh btw idk if you figured this out already, but i just figured out the difference between panels and panelcontainers is that the latter is a container, so it determines the position of the stuff inside! so if you try to drag something inside a p.con, it pops that message going "children of con. nodes are set by parent" whatever
ohhh so it really is just a base container with a panel rect? im still not totally sure why something like that needs to exist separately from panels lol 😭😭 also nice to see another godot dev on neocities!! im surprised someone's actually reading my godot diary
turns out you can split an infinite amount of times... imma limit to 3 times / 4 hands though, and give you a setting option for how many decks you wish to play with
