I've been feeling a bit mixed on the quality of my reviews lately - do any of y'all have any general thoughts on the structure of my reviews? Anything I could do better, anything that works really well?
Do you have an end goal for your reviews, like a book or anything like that? I feel like your reviews are personal-experience focused in a way that makes even the shovelware a heck of a lot more interesting to read about than it must be to play. It sometimes feels more essay-ish than review-ish, which is cool!
I thought I'd, once a week, highlight a previous or group of previous reviews that had some relevance to my last review - Last year, for May the 4th, I reviewed a game I'd wanted to play for years - Star Wars: Apprentice of the Force! Not amazing, but glad I finally beat it. https://thegameboyabyss.neocities.org/reviews/apprenticeoftheforce11.html New review coming next week!
