Thank you, I really appreciate the encouragement! Your site is very cute and packed with personality, I like it a lot :) Seeing Tails & friends on every page cheers me up quite a bit.

Thank you! It's a sadgrrl layout I'm using to teach myself html. I'm glad you enjoyed the iris post! I'm super excited for her to release; I'm hoping on making a blog post when I build her. Kotobukiya's prices are either reasonable-ish or absolutely bonkers. The quality is good but like. for a lot of kits they're asking for way too much

I think any X will be a fine choice (I'm still hunting one down myself) but if sturdiness while building is a concern, I'd a newer kit. I built Axl (newer release) and Zero (reissue of an older kit) earlier this year and Axel had much better internal engineering than Zero imho. I broke Zero's knee joint by accident while with Axl i'd have to try extremely hard to do so

nail on the head with their pricing, i remember their base x and zeros being inexpensive but everyone else being sold (and REsold) for crazy prices. but i will take your advice to heart, sounds like their engineering's improved a lot in a short time

I swear they throw darts on a wheel for prices. The new zero x1 kit is fine-ish, but the Bass.exe price had my eyes bugging out of my skull. 9.8k yen... crazy. Kotobukiya seems to have improved a lot. IIRC Zero's from 2020 while Axl is from 2024, and it's such a difference in engineering. The connectors for Zero's knees were thin while Axl's were significantly sturdier & with a bit of a different design.

i noticed that too! it's inconsistent across the board, just look at their other figure lines like frame arms girl, megami device, or pokemon scale figs. i think it's unneccessarily confusing for the customer, even if the prices match the better quality materials/builds. i don;t know what the excuse is for those pokemon figures though.

@miela583 Thank you! :) I played around with sadgrl's layout builder and I'm in the process of modifying it! I'm having a nice time with it.
wish more nendos had articulation, it's so much more fun to pose them :pensive:
same; there's a special joy i get from articulated nendoroids (posing them however I want). The Ace Attorney nendos wouldn't be as fun to pose if they were fully static. If they're going to charge more for nendoroids at least give them articulation...
